So the new (replacement new) Fluidyne showed up from Summit Racing. Big hole in the box. Look through hole, see a drain petcock. Looks like this one has been banging around on the inside too.

Open the box, see the petcock hammered up. Let's check everything else.

Looks like this mounting tab chewed up the box and ended up bent, just like the last one.

This mounting pin is bent. Not sure if that's from hammering around inside the box or if it's a quality problem in assembly. Personally I think their quality has gone down compared to 10 years ago.

Alright, so once we extract the radiator from its plastic and cardboard cocoon (which apparently does NO GOOD) we can now see the bent tabs better.

The protective caps appear to be hammered too.

Oh what's this hiding under the protective cap... a bent connection. Gee, was that due to the shipping? Most probably NOT. I think it speaks to their quality, not as good as it used to be.

Look carefully into this other connection. See the ledge in there? The opening in the tank is smaller than the tube. This should be a nice restriction to coolant flow.

And here's that bent petcock. Not a real big deal, I can replace that easy enough, but wait...

Fins that don't extend all the way to the tanks.... I don't know if this is the "new" way to do it, but I think Fluidyne's quality on these isn't where it used to be. The thing about is.... 10 years ago the Fluidyne radiator for the Pantera cam
