I decided to paint the calipers this year. I have some new wheels coming soon that are much more open than the Campys. This will highlight the calipers and be more fun for the shows.

The rear doesn't have much to show. The frame the caliper rides in is the largest part. I didn't bother painting the back of the brake pads.

The french locks on the front calipers have broken off. This is why I drilled all the bolts for safety wire. Here we see the caliper bolts safety wired in place after properly torquing them to spec, which is 50 lb for the front (40 lb for the rears)

The rear calipers still have the tabs on the french locks. They are bent over to keep the bolts from backing out, after being torqued to spec of course (40 lb).
